VYAS volunteers participated in the SDC Gala, supporting the event through venue setup and on-site assistance. Volunteers helped prepare the event space, welcomed guests, and guided attendees throughout the evening. Their contribution supported the smooth running of the event and provided youth volunteers with an opportunity to gain experience in community service and event support.

VYAS volunteers supported the ninth session of the Hand-in-Hand Reading Club with a Christmas-themed reading and craft activity for children with special needs. Volunteers accompanied the children during story reading and creative crafts, including making holiday cards and decorations. The event created a warm and festive environment where children could explore stories, express creativity, and experience the joy of the holiday season through shared activities.

VYAS volunteers supported the Fraser Charity Fundraising Banquet through on-site coordination and guest support. Volunteers assisted with check-in, material distribution, guest guidance, and event logistics throughout the evening. Their dedication and teamwork helped ensure the event ran smoothly while supporting the fundraising efforts and contributing to a warm and welcoming charitable atmosphere.

On the evening of November 29, 2025, the Youth Starry Night Ceremony took place in Richmond, bringing together young volunteers, families, partners, and supporters from across the community. This annual gathering showcased the journeys and contributions of young people involved in community service throughout the year. With the theme “Light the Sky, Keep Love Aglow,” the ceremony celebrated the belief that every young person can bring warmth and positive change to others. The

VYAS youth volunteers supported the Music of Hope Christmas Concert organized by the Hand-in-Hand Foundation for children with autism. Volunteers assisted with on-site support during the event while observing the performances and engaging with the community. The experience allowed volunteers to better understand the challenges and strengths of children with autism while promoting inclusion, empathy, and community support through music and shared participation.

VYAS youth volunteers supported a Traditional Chinese Medicine public lecture organized by the Guoxue Preservation Association. Volunteers assisted with event operations and on-site support throughout the lecture. Their responsible and attentive participation was recognized by the organizers, while the experience also allowed youth volunteers to develop a stronger sense of responsibility and contribute to promoting traditional culture and health knowledge within the community

VYAS Hand-in-Hand Reading Club (Session 8) VYAS volunteers supported the eighth session of the Hand-in-Hand Reading Club with a Remembrance Day–themed activity for children with autism. Volunteers accompanied the children during reading and craft activities, including creating and drawing red poppies to remember those who served in World War I. The event created a meaningful environment where children could express themselves through reading, art, and shared interaction.
