VYAS volunteers supported the Hand-in-Hand Art Exhibition held at CITIC Vancouver Centre, Burnaby Office. The exhibition showcased artworks created by individuals with special needs, allowing them to share their stories through art. VYAS volunteers provided on-site support throughout the event, assisting participants and helping maintain a welcoming and organized environment for families and visitors.

VYAS volunteers supported the New Silk Road Children’s Model Competition audition by assisting participants and helping maintain order throughout the event. Volunteers guided young contestants backstage, helped organize waiting areas, and supported event operations. Their dedication ensured the audition process ran smoothly and created a supportive environment for the children and families participating in the competition.

VYAS volunteers participated in the first session of the Hand-in-Hand Reading Club, a community reading activity supporting children with autism. Volunteers provided one-on-one reading support, accompanying children as they explored stories and books in a calm and supportive environment. Through reading and interaction, the activity encouraged communication, connection, and confidence while creating a warm and inclusive space for learning and companionship.
