VYAS volunteers supported the seventh session of the Hand-in-Hand Reading Club with a Halloween-themed reading activity. Volunteers accompanied children during reading and creative activities, encouraging imagination and interaction through stories and drawing. The event created a joyful and supportive environment where children and volunteers could share creativity, build connections, and explore the world of books together.

VYAS youth volunteers supported the Fan Deng Reading Club community event in Vancouver. Volunteers assisted with event organization, conducted on-site interviews, and supported charity sales and donation activities. Their participation contributed to the smooth running of the event while demonstrating youth leadership, teamwork, and a strong spirit of community service.

VYAS volunteers supported the opening ceremony of the 2025 China Film Week. Volunteers assisted with on-site coordination and helped guide guests throughout the event. VYAS volunteers supported the stage performance of the classic dance drama Nine-Colored Deer at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. Volunteers assisted with audience guidance, helped distribute and manage event materials, and supported backstage coordination with the stage team. Their participation helped ensure the performance ran smoothly while contributing to a positive and organized theatre experience for the audience.

VYAS volunteers supported the Sound of Harmony Gala, part of the fourth “In the Name of Love” multicultural community festival. Volunteers assisted with event operations and on-site coordination, helping ensure the event ran smoothly for guests and participants. The gala brought community members together in a warm and lively atmosphere, celebrating cultural diversity and shared connection.
