On April 18, 2026, VYAS volunteers gathered for the third Starlight Bookshop Volunteer Day, continuing their efforts to build a welcoming and accessible community reading space. During the session, volunteers carefully re-sorted the existing book collection by category, making it easier for visitors to browse and discover books that match their interests.

In addition to reorganizing the shelves, volunteers processed and displayed a new collection of donated books, giving each title a new opportunity to reach readers in the community. Every donated book represents not only shared knowledge but also the generosity of community members who support the growth of the Starlight Bookshop.

Although much of the work took place behind the scenes, the volunteers' patience, teamwork, and attention to detail played an important role in improving the bookshop for future visitors. As a VYAS community initiative, the Starlight Bookshop promotes reading while supporting programs for children and youth with special needs. Through the continued support of volunteers and book donations, the space continues to grow as a place where books can inspire learning, connection, and new possibilities.
