On June 26, 2026, VYAS successfully hosted the third session of its Charity Fencing Experience Camp, led by Leader James Chen as part of the Youth Interest Exploration Program (IEP). The program welcomed children and youth, including participants with special needs, for another opportunity to explore fencing through a fun, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

As the program progressed into its third session, many participants demonstrated noticeable growth in both confidence and engagement. Through fencing practice, interactive challenges, and team-based activities, children strengthened their fundamental skills while developing focus, communication, and cooperation. It was encouraging to see many participants become more willing to take on new challenges, actively participate, and support one another throughout the activities.

VYAS youth volunteers played an important role by guiding participants, providing encouragement, and assisting with the smooth operation of the program. Their patience, enthusiasm, and dedication helped create a positive environment where every child felt welcomed and supported. Through ongoing experience programs like the Charity Fencing Experience Camp, VYAS continues to empower children and youth with special needs to discover new interests, build confidence, and develop essential life skills while fostering meaningful connections within the community.
