VYAS volunteers supported the Easter Hat Parade Community Carnival by assisting the organizers with venue setup, booth preparation, and event coordination. VYAS volunteers supported the second session of the Hand-in-Hand Reading Club, a community activity for children with special needs. Volunteers provided one-on-one reading support while accompanying children through the story The Grand Hotel. Through reading and creative expression, the activity created a warm environment where children could relax, engage with stories, and explore their imagination with the support and encouragement of volunteers.

VYAS volunteers supported the Hand-in-Hand Art Exhibition held at CITIC Vancouver Centre, Burnaby Office. The exhibition showcased artworks created by individuals with special needs, allowing them to share their stories through art. VYAS volunteers provided on-site support throughout the event, assisting participants and helping maintain a welcoming and organized environment for families and visitors.

VYAS volunteers supported the New Silk Road Children’s Model Competition audition by assisting participants and helping maintain order throughout the event. Volunteers guided young contestants backstage, helped organize waiting areas, and supported event operations. Their dedication ensured the audition process ran smoothly and created a supportive environment for the children and families participating in the competition.
